The Center lead serves as the primary liaison for students, faculty, industry partners, and government agencies regarding cybersecurity education, research, and outreach initiatives.

Core Faculty

The Center is supported by faculty with expertise in cybersecurity, networking, risk management, digital forensics, information technology, and software development.

Faculty engage in teaching, applied research, student mentoring, and community outreach.

Cybersecurity Program of Study (PoS)

The Center supports the following cybersecurity-related Programs of Study:

Bachelor of Science in Information Technology – Cybersecurity Track

This program prepares students to design, implement, and manage secure computing environments through coursework in:

  • Ethical Hacking and Penetration Testing
  • Digital Forensics
  • Risk Management and Governance
  • Cloud Security
  • Secure Systems Administration

Embedded Cybersecurity Coursework

Cybersecurity concepts are integrated across multiple IT and computer science courses to ensure depth and continuity of learning.

Industry Advisory Board

The Center maintains an Industry Advisory Board composed of cybersecurity professionals from industry, government, academia, and nonprofit sectors.

Advisory Board Functions:

  • Support internship pipelines.
  • Advising strategic growth initiatives
  • Ensure alignment with national cybersecurity workforce frameworks.
