After working in constant partnership with Pitt Digital, the Office of Public Safety and Emergency Management (PSEM) announces that is live and available to download in the (Apple) and (Android). For users’ convenience, Pitt Digital provided the following . The app that brings public safety to the campus community’s fingertips.
PittSAFE replaces the legacy Rave Guardian app and serves as the centralized hub for campus safety resources, emergency communications, support services, and important notifications. Rave Guardian will be sunsetting in early September, so please make sure to download the new PittSAFE app and remove Guardian from phones. PittSAFE is supported at all University campuses and provides campus-specific information based on the user's selected location.
As preparations continue for students to move back to campus, the PSEM team continues to do outreach and training on the new app with its safety and communications partners at the regional campuses, as well as with Residence Life, Student Affairs, and other Pittsburgh campus stakeholders.
